There are no frills or fancies about them- they are practical and down to earth, and characterised by humility, character and perseverance. True Karoo was born both out of passion and out of need.

Passion; because as a family the Truter’s believe in farming to the best of their abilities to produce wholesome food for the nation, and because they have a history and passion for downright good food that they want to share with people. And need; because truth be told it’s been a tough year. Heck, a tough few years with more than enough challenges.”
